Caelus is built on a simple principle: your stars, your business. The app runs a fully on-device AI model — there are no servers, no cloud processing, and no data collection of any kind.

We believe astrology is deeply personal. That's why Caelus is designed so that your birth data, readings, conversations, and preferences never leave your iPhone.

2. Data We Collect

None.

Caelus does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information. Specifically:

• No personal data (name, email, phone number)
• No location data
• No usage analytics or telemetry
• No advertising identifiers or tracking
• No cookies or web beacons
• No third-party SDKs that collect data

3. On-Device AI

Caelus uses an open-source AI model (Qwen 3.5) that runs entirely on your iPhone. When you receive a horoscope, tarot reading, compatibility report, or chat response, the AI generates it locally on your device. No data is sent to any server, API, or cloud service.

On first launch, the AI model is downloaded to your device. After that initial download, all features work completely offline.

4. Data Stored on Your Device

Caelus stores the following data locally on your iPhone using iOS system storage (SwiftData). This data is only accessible to you and is never transmitted externally:

• Your birth date, time, and location (for chart calculations)
• Generated readings and chat history
• Tarot reading history
• Compatibility contacts and their birth data
• Stardust balance and streak data
• Language and app preferences

You can delete all of this data at any time by deleting the app from your iPhone.

5. Astronomical Calculations

Caelus uses SwissEphemeris, an open-source astronomical library, to calculate planetary positions. These calculations happen entirely on your device using mathematical algorithms — no internet connection or external service is required.

6. In-App Purchases

Caelus offers optional subscriptions and consumable purchases through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled by Apple. We never see, collect, or store any payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID data.

7. Children's Privacy

Caelus does not collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected or transmitted, there is no risk of children's data being exposed.

8. Third-Party Services

Caelus does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service interaction is Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our privacy practices, we will update this page. Any changes will be reflected in the "Effective Date" above. Given our commitment to zero data collection, we do not anticipate changes to this policy.
